America" because of its 99% pure quartz sand that stays cool under your
feet. Siesta Key beach offers tennis and volleyball courts, shaded
playground and picnic area, and convenient concession stands if you want to grab a cold drink of snack. Its shallow water near the shoreline and
year-round lifeguard protection make it a great beach for the whole
family. If you head south from the public beach area, you'll come to the end of the sand at Point of Rocks, a popular place for snorkeling. The village area offers a number of local shops and restaurants in a casual island atmosphere.
