Super Bowl Pits San Francisco Against Baltimore

Now that the two teams are in place how much did you say those ticket will cost?  Super

Super Bowl XLVII is 13 days away, but opportunities for tickets are improving for those looking to roll the dice on their favorite team getting into the game. At one ticket site, 2,500 tickets are currently available. As recently as a week ago they had only 234 tickets available. The influx of tickets decreased the ticket price early in the week to under $3,000, but it now sits at $3,110 per seat.

The original decrease likely came with Broncos, Seahawks, Packers and Texans fans unloading tickets they might have purchased in hopes of seeing their team in the Super Bowl. Although two more fan bases will be left disappointed, that likely will not result in any decrease early next week since people will be scavenging for any tickets they can find.

The cheapest ticket is currently $1,785.00, placing the holder in section 602, row 30.  Not even sure what the view is from there.  If you’re looking for tickets, happy hunting!

New Year brings new laws

Every year, new laws are enacted and some will go by the wayside as the year comes to a close. Some of the laws are probably needed and others appear a bit odd. They might even fall into the category of being downright hilarious. For instance, in California more than 800 news laws went into effect. One of the laws allows for vehicles to be driven driver-less. However, a human passenger is required to monitor the situation in all computer driven cars. Not sure why the car would be driven by a computer without any passengers but, the new law should cover all the bases. In North Carolina, not only are they passionate about their BBQ, they are very serious about their frying.  It’s going to cost you a misdemeanor and a $1,000 fine if you’re caught stealing used cooking oil. And, last but not least… Concord, Massachusetts is the first place in the nation to outlaw plastic bottles. So, there you have it…a couple new laws and a few good chuckles.

New Year’s Resolutions

Ah yes, the New Year’s Resolution. Who hasn’t made one and better yet…who hasn’t broken one, or many? Surely, we started out with good intentions but, somehow, somewhere, we lost our way. The experts say that the best way to make a new habit (like exercise) is to do it for 21 days straight. After about six months, it’s pretty well ingrained into your daily life and it becomes second nature. Here’s the thing… so you slip once or twice …or 37 times. Don’t give up, because you can always start again and make a new goal. The whole point was to strive towards a new goal, and you can do that any time of the year!
