Attend Bike Fest When You Live In Our Short Term Rentals

If you love motorcycles, and love event where riders gather for food, fun and fellowship then on August 18^th, 2014 there is an event you will love.  If you are staying in our short term rentals next month the Mad Beach Bike Fest takes place from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.  Bikes of all kinds can be seen at 15004 Madeira Way in Madeira Beach.  See classics, antiques and far out customized choppers. Food vendors will be on hand and others offering bike-related gear. Peruse the local restaurants and shops of the Madeira Way district during the show. Proceeds will benefit BIKERSCAP, a 501(c)3 organization, who provide much needed complete home computer systems through recycling older used systems to disadvantaged children.  See all the bikes and vote for your favorites as they all vie for ‘best in show’.

Rays Will Host Red Sox While You Are Living In Corporate Apartments in July

 While living in corporate apartments in Tampa this July be sure to see the Tampa Bay Rays in the wonderful Tropicana Field.  On July 25th, 26th and 27th catch a 3 game series with the Red Sox. Check on line and get your tickets for convenience. You will love the Rays home field, Tropicana Field, with its beautiful circular domed roof.  At night, the brilliant orange lights make it look like a humongous juicy orange. Located in St. Petersburg, off of I-275 it's easy to get to and there's plenty of parking. There are great restaurants and pubs in the area for before or after game relaxing and socializing. Be sure to see the live rays in the tank just behind the right center field wall.  There are over 30 rays that you can see and even touch. See Dave Matthews Band While Staying In Short Term Rentals This Week

 This month while staying in our short term rentals see the Dave Matthews Band at the Florida State Fairgrounds.  On July 16th, Wednesday he will appear at 7:00pm for one show.  Get your tickets right away and get ready to rock! Grab some grub and the Hard Rock before you go, or after the concert.  If you love this band, this venue will become one of your favorites too. The fairgrounds are easy to access and there is plenty of parking.  The MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre is open air and HUGE!  Choose chair seating or bring a blanket and sit on the grass. The amphitheater is mostly covered by a large white roof the hot sun, or the evening showers won't be a problem. Only the seating in the grass is uncovered. You will find food and beverage available at several tents around the venue. Check the venue website for any do's and don'ts.

Watch The Mud Fly When Staying In

In downtown St. Petersburg this weekend the mud will be flying!  Extreme Mud Wars takes place on Sat. July 12th and Sun, July 13th at Spa Beach Park.  Watch as teams of 10 players try to outlast, outwit and out-power the others and win the title. Struggling through mud and water during 8 events will leave them wet, dirty and tired.  See who make it to the end.  Spectators are free, but if you want to get a team and join you can check the website for  more info. Maybe you're staying in a corporate apartment you your company would like to compete with a team.  Just be sure to wear  clothes that you will never want to wear again.  This is a great team building exercise!  There will be football, dodge-ball and other events all done wet and muddy of course.  Check the directions and maps and get ready to roar!
