You've heard the stories about Mermaids and now you can see them.........for real! While living in temporary housing in Tampa, you've got to take a trip to Weeki Wachi Springs State Park and see the Mermaid Show. And, March 8th and 9th is a special event you won't want to miss. Mermaids from back as far as the 1940's will be involved in a nostalgic show highlighting these special ladies. Check their website for more information and plan to make a full day of it. The park also has river boat cruises, animal shows, canoeing, kayaking and a water park called Buccaneer Bay. And did you know that the park is constantly used for television, films and news programs? You've probably seen it and don't realize it's right here where you are living now.
