As part of an 825 mile project to
take photos of Florida beaches, Google Street View trekkers are hitting the
beaches this week at Clearwater Beach, Caladesi Island, Anclote Key and Honeymoon
Island. Two photographers are hiking the beaches carrying 40 pound backpacks
with 15 camera lenses that take photos every 2.5 seconds. The result will be
millions of photos all woven together to create the ability to virtually walk
the beach from your computer while never leaving home. Pretty cool!
It is our pleasure to provide this information. If you are traveling to the Tampa area and require MacDill AFB housing or are in need of temporary housing in Tampa FL please consider Avenida Suite - Tampa.
