Rays Will Host Red Sox While You Are Living In Corporate Apartments in July

See Dave Matthews Band While Staying In Short Term Rentals This Week

 This month while staying in our short term rentals see the Dave Matthews Band at the Florida State Fairgrounds.  On July 16th, Wednesday he will appear at 7:00pm for one show.  Get your tickets right away and get ready to rock! Grab some grub and the Hard Rock before you go, or after the concert.  If you love this band, this venue will become one of your favorites too. The fairgrounds are easy to access and there is plenty of parking.  The MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre is open air and HUGE!  Choose chair seating or bring a blanket and sit on the grass. The amphitheater is mostly covered by a large white roof the hot sun, or the evening showers won't be a problem. Only the seating in the grass is uncovered. You will find food and beverage available at several tents around the venue. Check the venue website for any do's and don'ts.

Watch The Mud Fly When Staying In

In downtown St. Petersburg this weekend the mud will be flying!  Extreme Mud Wars takes place on Sat. July 12th and Sun, July 13th at Spa Beach Park.  Watch as teams of 10 players try to outlast, outwit and out-power the others and win the title. Struggling through mud and water during 8 events will leave them wet, dirty and tired.  See who make it to the end.  Spectators are free, but if you want to get a team and join you can check the website for  more info. View Fireworks While Living In Corporate Housing This 4th Of July

On the 4th of July there will be plenty of fireworks in the air, but where should you go to see them?  While living in our corporate housing on the 4th try these areas to see the awesome show in the sky:

At the Westfield Brandon Mall the fireworks show starts at 9:00 pm

At Coachman Park in Clearwater the show starts at 9:30 pm

At Channelside there will be a mega-show and it's right on the water.  There will be live music and parking is plenty.  The wharf is the best spot for viewing but space is limited. At 7:00 pm be at the Garrison Street Gate and the first 3500 people will be admitted.

Downtown St. Petersburg will host an all day event with fireworks at 9:00 pm - and on the St. Pete Beach Access Park you can bring a picnic and lawn chairs or blankets and see the show at about 8:30 pm.

See The ARC Gloria While Staying In Short Term Rentals This Week

Dali Summer Movie Series On Schedule When You Are In Short Term Rentals This Summer

Drive The Sunshine Skyway While Living In Short Term Rentals

When staying in short term rentals in the Tampa Bay area be sure to see the Sunshine Skyway Bridge which crosses the Tampa Bay between Manatee County and Pinellas County. This is a continuous pre-stressed concrete cable-stayed construction that spans 4.1 miles from end to end. It is a section of I-275 and US 19 on the west coast of Florida. The original bridge was built in 1954 and was of steel cantilever construction.  It was a two lane bridge and in 1969 a duplicate bridge was built next to it to meet the standards for the Interstate system.  Prior to this bridge opening there was a ferry that ran from Point Pinellas on the north to Piney Point on the south.  The bridge is not without it's history and tragedy.  In January 1980 the buoy tender USCGC Blackthorn and the tanker Capricorn collided and 23 Coast Guard members died.  Again in 1980, this time in May, the freighter Summit Venture collided with a pier support during a thunderstorm and the southbound span toppled into the water.  Cars, a truck and a Greyhound bus fell 150 feet to the water and 35 people died. In 1987 the current bridge was completed and open to traffic.  It is thrilling to drive on this bridge and the view of the Tampa Bay area is spectacular.

Enjoy The Upper Tampa Bay Trail While Staying In Short Term Rentals In May

 Now is the perfect weather for some outdoor adventure.  When you are living in our short term rentals this month check out the Upper Tampa Bay Trail.    The trail is  located in residential northwest Hillsborough County. Currently, the trail runs along the west shore of Channel A from a trailhead off Memorial Highway/Montague St, past Waters Avenue, Linebaugh, and then due north to Gunn Highway, Ehrlich Road and ending at Peterson Road Park. The current 7.25 miles make up the first three phases of a four-phase project. Eventually, the Upper Tampa Bay Trail will extend seven to eight more miles, connecting to the 41-mile Suncoast Trail.  Walk, run or bike the trail and enjoy the beautiful scenery and gorgeous weather of the Tampa Bay Area.

Memorial Day In Tampa Short Term Apartments

When you are living in Tampa short term apartments in May, Memorial Day provides a great time to get outside and enjoy the festivities.  This year your can partake in the Tampa Bay Margarita Festival Saturday May 24th and many other events over the weekend.  Hear great music by Los Lonely Boys, taste Tequila and sample the goodies at the food trucks.  Located at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, there is plenty of parking and great facilities. Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco serves as Grand Marshal over the Memorial Day parade including marching bands and Shriner units. The parade honoring men and women who have died serving in the armed forces starts at Dupree Lakes Boulevard off Collier Parkway and ends just past the Baldomero Lopez Memorial Veterans Nursing Home on Parkway Boulevard.  Start time is 8:00 am on May 26th.  Plan ahead and find the best spot for viewing.  And, remember this is the day we honor our fallen veterans.
