Catch three days of powerboat racing starting
today at Coachman Park in downtown Clearwater. With the roar of the engines and
blazing speeds up to 180 miles per hour, there’s plenty of excitement for
everyone. The race course start and finish line is by the Sandpearl Resort.
You can take a tour of the boats before the races and meet the crews for autographs. Spectator
admission is free or you can pay anywhere from $5-$20 for better viewing at
Pier 60.
