Fort Desoto Park is a 1000 acres of unspoiled wilderness and is one of Florida's premier beach parks. There are two fishing piers and seven miles of beaches. There is a huge parking lot and grassy picnic areas. You can also rent bikes and there is a café and gift store. North Beach is considered the best.
